Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Dreyer will be instituting the following measures to help decrease the transmission rate of the disease:

Patient Flow:

  • Decreasing the number of scheduled patients per day and at any given time in order to maintain social distancing guidelines and minimize potential exposure with other patients
  • Aside from direct treatment, all patients must wear a mask or face covering when in the building
  • No persons shall accompany patients, unless the patient is a minor, sedated, or has other medical needs that require a caregiver
  • Preference will be given to high risk patients (age >60 and/or other medical conditions) for the first appointment of the day
  • All patients will be prescreened for COVID 19 when confirming their appointment and then when they arrive at their appointment. They will need to complete a COVID 19 consent form and have their BP, O2 sat, and temperature checked.  If they have a known exposure, symptoms, or a fever (>100.4 F)- treatment will be delayed no less than 14 days from the current appointment

Sanitizing and Disinfecting Procedures:

  • Regular sanitizing of frequently touched surfaces will occur (i.e. door handles, pens, credit card machines, etc.)
  • Continue sanitizing all treatment rooms after each patient
  • Use of a medical grade HEPA filter in each treatment and high use room
  • Treatment room doors will be closed during patient treatment and during disinfection process
  • Fogging of rooms will occur at least once per day after patient care
  • Use of an intraoral and/or extraoral high volume evacuation (HVE), when appropriate
